A mystery shopper, or secret shopper, is an independent contractor who visits your establishment unannounced, interacting as a customer to provide objective quantitative and qualitative feedback about the experience.
Through discussion, and by reviewing any available training guides or other company manuals, we work with you to identify the standards most important to your customers and most critical to the success of your business. We script common scenarios for our mystery shoppers to use, which allow them to blend in and retain their anonymity.
A mystery shopper makes inquiries and observations according to the specifications of each project, noting specific details and measurements about the location environment and the level of customer service provided.
How much time elapsed before the mystery shopper was greeted, and what was the tone of the greeting? Was the secret shopper treated courteously throughout the visit? Were the sales associates knowledgeable about the products, and did they provide effective selling assistance? Was the location clean, organized, and ready to welcome customers?
