Shopper Warning: Beware of projects offering quick returns for cashing a check

June 22, 2009

We have just become aware that someone posing as a representative of Beyond Hello is recruiting shoppers via Craigslist and then presenting a project involving Western Union. In this particular situation, the individual is using the name Benjamin Franklin, but other names may be used as well in conjunction with this scam.

Our company does not conduct mystery shops involving check cashing or money transfers. If you are contacted about this offer from someone using the Beyond Hello name, please contact us to verify whether or not this is a valid project. You can also review this good advice from Craigslist about identifying scams.
