OneSight Foundation – 2009 Donation Results

Beyond Hello is proud to support OneSight (a Luxottica Foundation), which is a group of charitable vision care programs dedicated to improving vision around the world through outreach, research, and education.

Among its beneficial programs, OneSight recycles used prescription eyeglasses to people in need around the world. They operate five global recycling centers and have thousands of locations available to collect donations of glasses, including LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut, and Pearle Vision. OneSight needs to collect and recycle 1.2 million pairs of used eyewear every year to support 20 global clinics. Learn more about the foundation at www.OneSight.org.

Beyond Hello encourages shoppers to donate used eyewear while they’re conducting projects for the client partners listed above. In 2009, Beyond Hello mystery shoppers donated 2717 pairs of glasses. Since 2006, Beyond Hello shoppers have donated 10,798 pairs of glasses to OneSight!
