“Sorry, but I will be in Colorado attending a UFO seminar, which is very dear to my heart and more important to me as I’m running my own UFO company.”
Whatever your reason for turning down a mystery shopping assignment, we love it when you let us know in advance, no matter what the reason. Here’s another favorite of ours:
“I apologize but I will be unable to do this shop. I just started a new job that requires me to work.”
It’s so important to let us know when there’s a chance you won’t be able to complete an assignment, because for every project that’s finished ahead of time, there’s another that skates by at the eleventh hour. Our schedulers are much happier people when they don’t have to scramble to re-work deadlines.
How to make this happen: When a scheduler assigns a project to you, in addition to looking at the project’s Start Date (the first date you can conduct the shop), take a hard look at the Due Date (the very last day you can submit your completed evaluation). You’ll need to conduct your mystery shop between those dates. (Read: Before the due Date!)
If you’re unsure you’ll be able to follow through for any reason, please just let us know right away and we’ll be happy to re-assign. Doing so is a great way to maintain your trusted shopper status with Beyond Hello.
