Capitol Hill, that is…
Last week, Gary Godding and Christopher Warzynski from Beyond Hello joined approximately 50 members of the MSPA (Mystery Shopping Providers Association) for a “fly-in” on Capitol Hill. The group went to Washington to lobby against proposed legislation that would prevent the right to use independent contractors as mystery shoppers. If passed, the legislation directly impacts an individual’s right to work as a self-employed service provider. (Hear what Gary Godding, President of Beyond Hello, had to say from Washington…)
The proposed bill would eliminate the protections of Section 530 of the Revenue Act of 1978, which allows qualifying businesses to work with independent contractors.
The MSPA and its member companies will continue to oppose this bill and fight against further restrictions for our independent contractors and our industry.

I enjoy working for Beyond Hello as a contractor and hope nothing happens to prevent me from doing this.
