One of the most important things you can do to prepare for a mystery shop is to carefully read all the project specifications. They clearly explain our clients’ expectations, and provide what you need to know to effectively conduct a shop.
Our clients have the final say about which shops are accepted and which are excluded, based on whether project specifications have all been met. Keep in mind that clients make minor and major changes to their programs without notice, so even if you’ve done the “same” shop over and over, you could miss one of these changes if you don’t read the specs every time. Important FYI: Clients don’t allow “partial credit.” Either specs are met or they aren’t, so they’re worth paying attention to.
We hate to exclude shops as much as you hate to have a shop excluded! Excluded shops cost us time and cost you money. Help ensure all your shops are accepted, by reading those project specifications – first time, every time!
