Beyond Hello Shoppers Support OneSight Foundation

OneSight (a Luxottica Foundation) is a group of charitable vision care programs dedicated to improving vision around the world through outreach, research, and education.

Among its beneficial programs, OneSight recycles used prescription eyeglasses to people in need around the world. They operate five global recycling centers and have thousands of locations available to collect donations of glasses, including LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut, and Pearle Vision. OneSight needs to collect and recycle 1.2 million pairs of used eyewear every year to support 20 global clinics. Learn more about the foundation at www.OneSight.org.

In 2008, Beyond Hello mystery shoppers donated 3005 pairs of glasses to OneSight, and we hope that total will be exceeded in 2009. Year-to-date as of 9/28/09, our shoppers have donated almost 2300 pairs.
